These awards have been endowed through the generosity of a number of individuals and Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity entities. Contributions of all sizes are welcome. Alpha Phi Delta Award Established by the Scholarship Committee in honor of all of the members of Alpha Phi Delta who have donated so generously to the scholarship fund. Anthony J. Carfang Award Established though a grant by 36th National President Anthony Carfang, Psi '69. Tony is also the current director of development for the Scholarship funds. Ernest Coletti Award Established by the Mohawk Valley Alumni Club in honor of long time Utica District Governor Ernest Coletti, Mu '45. Brother Coletti passed away this past year and made a gift of $10,000 to the Scholarship Fund which was added to this award this year. Stanley W. Raffa Award Established by 30th National President Stanley Raffa, Delta '49. Stan held virtually every top position in the Alpha Phi Delta world including National President, Vice President, Secretary, Kleos Editor and Scholarship Chairman. Brooklyn Alumni Club Award The award of the Brooklyn Alumni Club. Long Island Alumni Club John Pasta Award Established by the Long Island Alumni Club in honor of 7th Grand Consul John Pasta, Beta '18, who led the fraternity from 1924 through 1926. He was a member of Eta Chapter and a graduate of The Columbia University School of Law. New York Alumni Club Award The award of the New York Alumni Club. Pittsburgh Alumni Club Award Established by the Pittsburgh Alumni Club, one of the oldest alumni clubs and long known for its financial support. Anthony & Stella Barbieri Award Established by Brother Anthony V. Barbieri, Beta Beta 1959, Manhattan College and his wife Rosina Barbieri in honor of his late parents. Brother Camillus Casey Award Established in honor of beloved former National Chaplain Brother Camillus Casey, Beta Sigma, after his death by his many friends and students. Brother Camillus joined the fraternity while a faculty member of St. Francis College in Brooklyn as a founding member of Beta Sigma Chapter. Frank Cavallaro Award Established in honor of 22nd National President and long time expansion chairman Frank Cavallaro, Theta Beta '36. Frank E. Costanzo Awards (I) & (II) Two awards established by 23rd National President and former Scholarship Trustee Frank Costanzo, Nu '30. A. Joseph Creston Award Established by 5th District Governor, 34th National President and former Scholarship Trustee A. Joseph Creston, Psi '49. Adam J. DiVincenzo Award Established in honor of 21st Grand Consul and long time National Secretary. Adam DiVincenzo, Psi '32, will always be remembered by his many friends as "Mr. Alpha Phi Delta." The Fabrizio Family Scholarship Established by Paul R. Fabrizio, Psi '63 and his wife Charlene. The award is in memory of Paul's recently deceased parents John and Virginia Fabrizio as well as in honor of Paul and Charlene Fabrizio and John (his brother) and Barbara Fabrizio.< Carmelo and Carmela Giampiccolo Award Established by brother James S. Giampiccolo, Theta '40, in honor of his late parents. James S. and Theresa Giampiccolo Award Endowed with a grant by brother and Mrs. James S. Giampiccolo, Theta '40. Louis J. Mauriello Award Established by his family in 2006 shortly after his death. Brother Mauriello was inducted into Eta Chapter at The City College of New York in 1934. Richard C. Rau Scholarship Award Established in honor of the late Richard Rau, Beta Sigma '69, who died while attending college at St. Francis College by his fraternity brothers from Beta Sigma Chapter. Alpha Phi Delta Resort Association of New York Award Established by brothers who had originally collected funds to build a fraternity owned resort facility in the Catskill region of Alpha Phi Delta where many National Conventions were held. That dream never materialized and a portion of the fund was turned over for scholarships in the late 1980s. Eta Chapter Memorial Scholarship / Armand F. DeRosa Award Established with funds donated by the alumni of Eta Chapter from City College of the City University of New York and a donation from long time third district governor Armand DeRosa, Beta Eta '38. Brother DeRosa was the first alumnus to bequeath money to Alpha Phi Delta in his will. Southern California Alumni Club Award The award of the Southern California Alumni Club. The alumni brothers of the Southern California A.C. were one of the earliest groups to donate a full award by establishing this scholarship in 1986. Steubenville Alumni Club Award The brothers of the Steubenville (Ohio) Alumni Club showed their fraternity support and established this award in their name in 1995. Steubenville Ladies Auxiliary Award The award of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Steubenville Alumni Club who generously collected money for the Scholarship Fund and established this award in 1987. | ||||
